There was a good attendance at the Mental Health and Wellbeing Network held at the Link Centre on 25th January. There was a theme of 'Employment' and there was a wide range of speakers. There were also a number of different organisations represented in the audience, and more than half the people were attending the Network for the first time.
We are looking at making the presentations from the speakers available on the mentalhealtholdham.info website.
It was really good to have quite a bit of audience participation with many questions asked, although that did make the event awkward to manage and there needed to be be a few alterations in respect of the times of the presentations. There were a few problems with hearing the speakers but the audience were very patient, and they also gave some very useful feedback via the evaluation forms that were returned. The next Network will be in April and is planned to have a theme around 'Recovery'. More details will be advertised as soon as they are confirmed. |
